Inspired by my journey as an immigrant, this project uses chocolate as a metaphor for identity across different life stages. Divided into three phases — milk chocolate for innocence, dark chocolate for self-realization, and craft chocolate for refinement — this project reflects my evolving self-perception. Each phase is paired with poetry, using chocolate to explore themes of acceptance, growth, and personal values. This work, which includes video and book designs, embodies the complexity of identity, inviting viewers to consider the ‘flavors’ and ‘textures' of their own self-discovery.
