My thesis explores the intersection of personal memory, collective documentation, and digital mapping, questioning how memory is shaped, stored, and reconstructed when physical access to a place is no longer possible. As geographic space becomes digitized, memory shifts beyond the body—shaped through images, data, and platforms. It is both preserved and manipulated by technology, gradually evolving into a form of spatial cognition composed of visual fragments and digital pathways.
