Project Title:
Tempus Fugit, Amor Manet
Description:
Tempus Fugit, Amor Manet explores the timeless essence of sustainability in fashion, shifting focus from the final product to the origins, materials, and circularity of fashion itself. In an industry where sustainability is often reduced to a mere marketing tool, this project invites a deeper conversation about sustainability as an enduring responsibility — something beyond the product, beyond the season. Using a dynamic Blender animation, fundamental geometric shapes — circle, square, and triangle — are crafted from micro-recycled and sustainable plastics. These minimalist forms symbolize the very essence of recycling, and their textures, illuminated by careful lighting, reflect the inherent value of these materials.

Set in a sophisticated Gothic exhibition space, the animation unfolds as these objects transform, echoing the ongoing life cycle of materials in a world where nothing truly ends but evolves. This visual narrative challenges the fleeting nature of trends and underscores the lasting significance of responsible design. By focusing on the origins, materiality, and continuous transformation of fashion, the project offers a fresh perspective: sustainability is not a buzzword or a passing trend, but a core value — enduring, necessary, and ever-evolving.

Through these dynamic objects and their transformative journey, this work encourages us to rethink what it means to create value. It asks us to reconsider not just what we consume but the legacy we leave behind, urging both consumers and brands to reflect on their role in shaping a truly sustainable world. By focusing on the deeper values of material life cycles, this project proposes a future where sustainability is not a momentary choice, but a permanent commitment.
